Early Processing of Absentee Ballots
Pursuant to SEB Emergency Rule 183-1-14-0.7-.15, the Greene County Board of Elections and Registration intends to begin the early processing of absentee ballots in Greene County on Tuesday, June 18th and will continue until complete during the hours of 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm. The location of the early processing process will be at the Elections & Registration Office at 1180 C. Weldon Smith Dr. Suite 109, Greensboro, GA 30642.
Early processing of absentee ballots shall be controlled such that ballot secrecy is maintained. The collection or disclosure of any balloting information before the close of polls at 7:00 p.m. on Election Day is strictly prohibited.
Can the Public Watch?
Any members of the public who wish to observe will be required to check in, receive a badge, take an oath, and may not interfere in any of the process.
