A Building Permit is required, in addition to a Sign Permit (PDF), if any of the following applies:
- Sign is an over-sized sign
- Signs that are illuminated internally or externally
- Signs that exceed 10 feet in height above grade plan
- Signs that exceed 120 square feet in area
- Signs that exceed 15 feet in width
If a Building Permit is required, then the Structural and Electrical Plan Review requirements must be met.
